Pandemonium (Delirium Trilogy) by Lauren Oliver

After reading Delirium, I had to start the second book immediately! I love what Lauren did with this book with introducing the “Then” and “Now” chapters to tell of the present and the past the Lena faced after cross the fence –  it really helped to keep the story going without having to get into pages and pages of details of Lena’s first days in the wild. It keep everything moving… all too well where, yet again, I couldn’t find myself to put the book down.

The second book expands the world that we knew in book one – past the lives or Lena and Alex. You will meet all new characters – Julian, Raven and the other invalids – but don’t worry they are just as good as the last if not better! Lena will face her new life in the wild while helping to fight for the bigger cause. My favorite part of this book is the last few chapters – so many questions answered, yet still leaving you with more. Trust me, buy this whole series at once or you will majorly regret it.

“The flip side of freedom is this: When you’re completely free, you’re also completely on your own.”

pandemoniumSynopsis:

The second book in Lauren Oliver’s remarkable New York Times bestselling trilogy about forbidden love, revolution, and the power to choose.

In this electrifying follow-up to Delirium, Lena is on a dangerous course that takes her through the unregulated Wilds and into the heart of a growing resistance movement. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.

I’m pushing aside  the memory of my nightmare, pushing aside thoughts of Alex, pushing aside thoughts of Hana and my old school, push, push, push, like Raven taught me to do. The old life is dead. But the old Lena is dead too. I buried her. I left her beyond a fence, behind a wall of smoke and flame.  Get on Amazon
